Out of site and out of mind

One of the things that people struggle with on a diet is knowing that something naughty is hiding in their cupboards but that because they are on a diet, they can't, or shouldn't eat it.

I know it sounds obvious, but by that point it is too late.

At the point you bought it, you had already decided to eat it.

To try and undo that decision now, when temptation is staring right at you from the bottom of the cupboard is hopeless. Just eat it and be done with it, but don't buy it any more.

Don't buy the things that you don't want to eat.

And buy more of the high quality foods that are better for your body that you need to eat in higher quantities.

The decision of what you put inside your body occurs at the point of purchase, and is then enacted in front of the television. So when you are on a fat loss plan, make better buying decisions so you make better eating decisions later on.
