EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and weight loss
EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is a tapping technique developed by Gary Craig from the original work by Roger Callahan, known as TFT, or Thought Field Therapy. This methodology has as its main principle, that the body has energy lines, much like the Chinese propose in their meridian model. Problems arise because the energy doesn't flow correctly, and so tapping on certain pressure points is said to relieve these blockages and restore harmony.
EFT practitioners will say that you apply EFT to anything, from cancers to depression, from cravings to phobias. EFT for weight loss will concentrate on unwanted desires and cravings, and the client will tap on certain points in sequences whilst reciting various phrases that are designed to focus the mind on the energy problem at hand.
Whilst EFT seems a little strange and weird to many people, it has an enormous number of devotees who claim miraculous cures from virtually every ailment known to man. There are of course as many sceptics who complain is it just little more than the placebo effect.
But here's the thing. Even if it "just" placebo effect, if it works, costs nothing, and brings about good change, then it is a placebo effect worth having.
So you may like to try out a brief workshop in the emotional freedom technique for weight loss, or buy the EFT DVD set that are available very cheaply, if not for free online. Gary Craig was very generous with his licence agreements and allowed people to give the training away for free.
EFT for weight loss? Definitely worth a try.
